Today as Best Girl Friday, she freelances as a Producer and Production Manager of feature films, commercials, and new media; she also provides representation for Crash & Sue's Post, Echo Boys Music & Sound Design, and for some of the Mpls' most talented Directors and DPs.

Mary K. Flaa
specialevents@mnwift.org
Mary is a nationally known make up artist who has worked in the film and entertainment industry for over 20 years. She started in the business by making a name for herself in NYC then decided to move back to Minneapolis because she missed the cold! (ha). Although a make up artist is typically known on set as one of the “vanity departments’, she is anything but. She takes an active role in the film community at large by supporting and sitting on organizations that are specifically geared towards the film industry. Her passions….mentoring up and comers, rally the film community, volunteering in Big Brothers, Big Sisters and riding her motorcycle. Some of the famous faces she has given her signature to include Reese Witherspoon, Hayden Panettiere, Madonna, Vanessa William, Stevie Nicks, and Brittany Murphy. Her mantra: Let the beauty of your soul be the beauty you wear!
